Joanna Pottle, an American visual artist, researcher and educator living in Poland, will be giving a guest artist talk and creative workshop on 20.03. She will discuss her studio practice and work, focusing primarily on work done during her Fulbright Fellowship to Kraków (2019-2020/21), inspired by her studies at Jagiellonian University on cultural heritage, art in public space and democracy as well as current projects through the Kosciusko Foundation and Humanity in Action. 

The workshop portion of the class will include artistic prompts related to her current interactive fellowship projects related to artistic interventions and interpretations of mapping public space, heritage, and collective memory and identity.
